Autism Reality Experience

The Autism Reality Experience was created in 2018 by Training 2 CARE CEO Glenn Knight and focus groups of 150 autistic people.  Over a 2 year period, this team worked together to design a course that allows you to walk in the shoes of autistic people and understanding the sensory processing challenges that are caused by environments, situations, experiences and actually the people around them.

At the end of the 2 years, 149 of the 150 autistic people that helped research and design this course, agreed that it was as close as physically possible to what they themselves experience.  With this knowledge, the first of the many experiences launched.

The ARE uses specially designed and unique equipment to change your sensory perception, during the experience, you will watch a video that is tailored to your workplace or situation and then complete some tasks.  Sounds easy? Yes?????? It certainly isn't and you will experience different emotions and challenges that you will not have expected.  This Course is about simple changes to your environment, approach, communication and most importantly, your awareness.
